Dance into College's Anna Miller Dazzles the Judges on So You Think You Can Dance!

At Dance into College, we work with so many talented students and love to celebrate their successes even after they've made their way to college or a professional career. What is unusual is when a student's accomplishment reaches a live national audience!

For Anna Miller of San Ramon, California, a dance career was always the goal, but she understood that college was an important part of growing as a person and a dancer. Additionally, she wanted to be prepared for a career after the performance lights faded. What she didn't expect before her high school graduation was an opportunity of a lifetime!

After an initial audition for producers, Anna was selected to appear on the 2022 premiere episode of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). The show featured an introductory video about Anna. She then performed her quirky and upbeat audition solo and received a unanimous and simultaneous "YES!" from the three judges allowing her to continue to the choreography round. You can view a snippet of her solo below. The full routine is available on Hulu and other streaming services.

Anna plans to attend Chapman University in California as a freshman in the fall as a dance major. She also intends to explore opportunities to study business. We wish Anna all the best on SYTYCD, at Chapman, and wherever her professional dance aspirations take her!
